Have you started your 2021 Resolution Vision Board?

Using the Mary Square Create Your Journey Spiral Planner I select goals in six key areas of my life: spiritual, family, community, physical, personal, and financial, and create a visual board of encourgement. It’s a fun, creative way to establish a new year’s resolution and to stay energized throughout the year.

Let’s start with Family. Whether you have a house full of dependents or a few four-legged friends, we all have a family of some shape and form.

I chose both the quote, “Attitudes are contagious”, and Proverbs 16:24 that emphasizes kind uplifting words in dealing with my children (which I often struggle with).  I pulled cutouts from a ship to represent our annual family vacation and a few quotes that spoke to me.

Perhaps you add photos of your loved ones, words of love or images of quality time…add things to your board that inspire you to be a better family member in the coming year. It doesn’t have to be complicated, just yours.

To get started, purchase a posterboard, and gather photos, scissors, glue, markers, and some bling. Regardless of your New Year’s resolution process, make it realistic, memorable, achievable, and comprehensive—encompassing all areas of your life.
